Seven cents is the cost to build one liter of water capacity using our new rainwater catchment tanks. But, to the children of Friends Shanderema High School, 7 cents means a better future. A future where children no longer drink water from contaminated wells or rivers, have no more walks for water during school hours to provide for their classmates, are able to consistently wash their hands (with soap!) before meals or after latrine use, and where schools can provide for their students and the local community.
